In a world of Dreams and Fantasies

We live our Lives

Dreamwalkers - Hypnotised Travelers

Between a Slipping Away Past

And an Unknown Imaginary Future

Rarely the clock of Awareness stops

for more than a few furtive moments
On the Elusive Now...

Your Life ...

Your Life Stolen

Do you wrestle with dreams?
Do you contend with shadows?
Do you move in a kind of sleep?

Time has slipped away
Your life is stolen

You tarried with trifles
Victim of your folly.

Frank Herbert -Dune trilogy

Transformation...

Transformation

Nothing is permanent.

You are like lightning in the sky, like the bubbles on water,
like the dew on the leaves on the trees.

But if you see death in everyday life*
it will elevate your understanding*

Thus it is important to understand the nature of death
and the transformation of all living things.

Time...

The Passage of Time

Time is always moving,
minute-by-minute and second-by-second.

As time moves on, so do our lives.
Nobody can stop this movement.

However, one thing is in our hands,
and that is whether or not we waste the time we have;
whether we use it in a negative way or in a constructive way.

The passage of time through which we live our lives
is the same for all of us and there is also a basic equality
between those of us who are a part of this time.

The difference lies in our state of mind and motivation.

Precious...

Precious Human Life

You have been given a precious human life

with freedom and blessings.

Be grateful and make the most of your opportunity.

Be compassionate to all living beings.

Terrible Instant ...

Terrible Instant of Enlightenment

"There is probably no more terrible instant of enlightenment

than the one in which you discover

your father is a man - with human flesh..."

Frank Herbert
Dune Trilogy

Your father is a man - with human flesh
and so is, most likely,
your representation of your God!...

Like the Sun

Staring at the Sun

Jan 08

Imagine someone staring directly at the Sun.

Facing the Truth is like staring directly at the Sun.

Its blinding - It can burn the retina.

The Sun is always there
whether one notices or chooses to ignore it.

When it gets uncomfortable one can look away

The Truth, is also always there
whether one notices or chooses to ignore it
but unlike the Sun
having looked into it, it is impossible to look away

More often than not it is uncomfortable.
It can burn the soul.

It has been said:
"The Truth will set you Free"
But for this to happen Transformation is necessary.
One needs to 'change' their mind
And train it to See, to Hold, and Accept the Truth.

I am like a man staring directly at the Sun.

Mirage...

Personal Mirage

Jan 08

Our Emotions and the way they are experienced within
are real to ourselves - yet often there is No 'reality' in them.

They are like one's Own Personal Mirage of Hell or Heaven.

Adversary?...

The Face of Adversary

Jan 08

What is it that you see on the face of your Adversary?

Which aspect of your Self, hidden from your view

is mirrored there?

What is it that so touches and threatens your world?

How Real or Worthy is it

that you have to fight to protect it at Any cost?

How strong are the Pillars of your Creation?

No One can destroy them

other than your Doubt and Fear.

No One can Liberate you from their hold

Other than your Own Self Awareness.

For the Benefit...

For the Benefit of Humanity

"...It is essential that we develop closer bonds
among the various religions;
through this we can make a common effort
for the benefit of humanity.

There are so many things that divide humanity,
so many problems in the world.

Religion should be a remedy
to help reduce the conflict and suffering in the world
not another source of conflict."

20th Century...

Twentieth -Century History

"If twentieth-century history ....
....has anything to teach us
it is that we humans have a dangerous tendency
to turn the visions we construct ourselves
into self -fulfilling prophecies.

The idea of the "survival of the fittest"
has been misused to condone, and in some cases
to justify, excesses of human greed and individualism
and to ignore ethical models
for relating to our fellow human beings
in a more compassionate spirit."
